Interior:
Here you will have all you need for a comfortable vacation: on the first floor you will find; an open kitchen with a bar, an indoor terrace with dining table, a living room with comfortable chairs and a sofa. The spacious bedroom with bathroom and a walk in closet is located on the second floor.
Use your cooking skills in this spacious kitchen with a 2 pits cooking stove, a refrigerator with freezer, a coffee maker, pans, plates, glasses, kitchen linen and all the needed kitchen utensils in order to make a delicious meal. The bar with 2 bar stools is in front of the kitchen.
In the colorful and spacious living room there are 2 ceiling fans, 2 comfortable chairs and a sofa, a radio with CD player and several art works of Nena Sanchez.
The accommodation has an old characteristic wooden floor.
The indoor terrace has a painted dining table in Caribbean colors with matching chairs. You can open the original colonial windows of the apartment for a cool breeze.
Going up the wooden stairs you will find the cool bedroom. Here is no air conditioning necessary, with open windows it is a very cool. There are 2 single beds with bed linens that can be joined together and a sitting area.
The bathroom is near the bedroom and next to the walk in closet. The bathroom has; a toilet, a shower, a sink and towels.
If 4 people are planing to stay in this accommodation, then 2 folding beds with a good mattress and bed linens will be placed in the living room or in the bed- room. (hotel beds).
Exterior:
You will stay in the hearth of cultural Punda. In 2 minutes walking distance you will find the trade center with old Dutch colonial buildings and the floating Queen Wilhelmina bridge. When you go out the door of the apartment you’ll be walking in a small corridor street near the Gomez square with Caribbean shops, restaurants and bars. Further more, the accommodation is located in walking distance of the Wilhelmina square, a few museums, the synagogue, the floating market, nice restaurants, a supermarket, and of course the other district of the capital “Otrobanda”.
You do not need to rent a car in order to discover the city.
In walking distance (12 minutes) you will find a bus stop where you can take a bus to the beach and party center called Mambo.
On the main floor of the building, in which this apartment is located, you will find Nena Sanchez’s art gallery with her beautiful and colorful art works.
Extras:
- The minimum stay is 7 nights and maximum 3 months.
- The guests will have to keep the accommodation clean themselves. There is cleaning gear present in the apartment.
